The incumbent will be responsible for managing the Asia Pacific Life Application team in Hong Kong and Guangzhou. Major duties include overseeing and co-ordinating all IT projects of the local countries in the region; budget estimation and control; project management, co-ordination and delivery within tight time frame; staff management and training; and preparation of management reports for senior management.
- University graduate in Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum 15 years working experience in IT industry with at least 5 years experience in Life applications (including Life Admin, SIS, New Business, POS, Claim ... etc.)
- At least 8 years experience in project management with team size not less than 10 staff
- Proven records on project implementation
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, proficiency in Mandarin is a must
- Good communication and co-ordination skill
- Business travel is required across the Asia Pacifica Region
