PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for managing small to mid-range projects.
Responsible creating project plans, implementing, monitoring and reporting projects.
Facilitates the technical development and ensures completion of projects through the coordination of tasks, issues and risks. He/She measures and monitors progress to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget, and that it meets or exceeds expectations.
Familiar project planning methodologies and systems lifecycles.
Must be comfortable exposing actual status, and allowing management to decide how to respond.
Managing projects or programs where resources are assigned from multiple teams and are shredded across projects.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Direct, motivate and manage the work/resources involved.
Monitor and report on project progress, prepare and present project status reports.
Ensure all project requirements and/or objectives are properly documented.
Establish or confirm guidelines applicable to the project.
Manage deviations from plan.
Escalate decisions and unresolved issues; to the next level of management if required.
Facilitate communication as appropriate to all involved and manage the stakeholders.
Promote a positive work environment.
Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
University degree in electrical or computer engineering
Strong technical acumen with good customer relationship management experience.
Exhibit strong communications and interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written)
Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of business and technical personnel.
Ability to manage multiple projects and related tasks concurrently and recognize priority situations
Hands on and can do attitude.
Oversea travel will be needed
