Role:
To market high level B2B events mainly for the Telecommunications and IT industry for a major publisher and event organizer. Your role is to market conferences to senior executives via emails, brochures, flyers, adverts and online marketing, with a strong focus on viral marketing. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills with a solid understanding of online and new media marketing and a proven track record. Knowledge of HTML and (web) design will be an advantage.
Key requirements are:
- 2+ years experience in B2B marketing
- Fluent in business English with excellent attention to detail, native English speaker is preferred
- Proven track record of successful B2B marketing campaigns
- Experience with online content management systems
- Experience with database segmenting and lead generation
- Excellent decision-making, problem solving and negotiating skills
Key tasks include
- Campaign management, demand and lead generation
- Creation of marketing campaigns and materials for print and electronic publication
- Maintenance of event websites
- Management of external designers and contractors
- Project management with all internal departments such as sales, production, telemarketing
- Liaison with event (media) partners
Salary will be dependent upon the skills and experience of the successful applicant.
