| Part Time English Teacher |

We are a professional, well-resourced private learning centre in Tsuen Wan. You can reach our centre from the Tsuen Wan or Tsuen Wan West MTR. It takes between 20 – 30 minutes from Central depending on the line you take.
We currently have two part time Native English teachers. At the request of our NET’s we are redistributing the allocation of work, so we are seeking another to join our expanding team. Our NET’s teach children from 1 to 18 years old. Classes we offer include playgroup, Jolly phonics, guided reading, oral English and even art class. The majority of work is with kids under 10.
The ideal candidate will bring a high degree of energy to work, which will help them create a fun environment for the children during class. You will be looking for a long term, part time job. You will be able to demonstrate to us a stable working history.
Ideally you will have one year teaching experience, however if you have transferrable skills from a previous role, we are happy to consider you. Transferrable skills could include running meetings at work, helping your kids with their homework or volunteering at a school. As you will be working with children and their parents, you need to be friendly and patient as well as having a professional attitude.
Working hours are mainly between 4:30 and 7:30 on weekdays (but not every day). On Saturdays you would need to be able to work either a half day (10:00 – 1:00) or a full day (10:00 – 6:00).

We will give you informal training and support
We prepare material for classes once you have prepared your lesson plan. We will show you the format of our lesson plans to help get you started.
The salary ranges from $250 - $350 per hour depending on your qualifications and experience
Where possible, we will schedule 2-3 hours of classes in a row for the convenience of the NET.
Our NET’s operate as a team and cover each other’s classes when flexibility is needed
