Responsibilities of SW Engineer:
Provides direct expertise in the design and test of software/firmware applications in electronic home appliance products
Defines and implements software requirements for design to ensure product meets functional specifications and overall product requirements
Designs, develops and performs analysis of software for embedded, real-time application.
Analyzes and execute detail designs, integrates code and verifies correct system operation
Develops, updates, and maintains coding integrity
Develops and recommends methods, tools and designs for software improvement.
Requirements for this Position:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering
8 + years hands-on development experience with real-time embedded hardware, software design and development, and programming experience in C/C++, Object Oriented programming with knowledge of Hardware interfaces and microprocessors
Experience with 8bit/16bit MCU, such as Amtel, Freescale, …etc, both in C/C++ and low level assembly languages development
Experience with HW and IO interfaces, communication protocols/standards
Experience with Linux, or other real time operation system, OS kernel module, device driver development are definitely a plus
Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with associates at all levels of the organization, vendors and others
Adaptability to frequent change in the work environment
Good command of English and Putonghua.
