We are a buying office for a leading US based consumer audio and electronic toy importer. We are now seeking a candidate to be part of our operation:
Packaging Engineer
Role:
- Responsible for the selection, development of efficient and cost-effective packaging solutions, reliability qualification, and provide support on resolving packaging problems.
- Work closely with graphic & industrial designers in feasibility study of new products packaging designs, as well as working across other departments involving structural, safety aspects of the products; schedules and quality of goods delivery.
Requirements:
- Background in Science or related Engineering discipline.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in packaging’s design, development, trouble shooting and project follow up of Toys, Audio / Video and consumer electronic products.
- Experience gained in toys / consumer & packaging / electronics industry and knowledge on applicable standards are added advantages.
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (include Mandarin).
- Travel to our Shenzhen office, PRC factories is necessary.
