Trendsetter Financial Markets Ltd. is a financial information provider in the foreign exchange & financial markets offering 24 hours on-line advisory services on the Thomason Reuters, Bloomberg platforms and the Internet to a global network of subscribers consisting of major international banks, corporate clients as well as private users in over 65 countries. We are seeking an IT person with good experience in PROGRAMMING and some exposure in SYSTEM to maintain our site and make regular enhancements on www.acetraderfx.com to serve the retail users.
Requirements:
Higher diploma in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent
At least 2 years experience in “programming or development” support with MSSQL, ASP, VB, JavaScript, XML, HTML
Knowledge in Excel VBA is advantageous
Experience in hardware / software maintenance and troubleshooting on MS platform
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English
Experience with Thomson Reuters and Bloomberg Terminal is advantageous
Proactive, positive attitude and able to work under pressure
Immediate availability is a definite advantage
Responsibilities:
Provide Help Desk support to internal users
Perform computer hardware and software installation, configuration, testing and maintenance
Solve critical technical issues and emergency troubleshooting
Report and record system irregularity at fault record systems and follow escalation procedures
Monitor activities in the computer room and ensure the service meet the requirement
Perform fallback recovery actions under the instruction of supervisor
