Administrative Assistant (ABD)
The Hong Kong Sports Institute Limited ("HKSIL") is dedicated to providing an environment in which sports talent can be identified, nurtured and developed to pursue excellence in the international sporting arena. We are now inviting suitable candidates for the following vacancy:

THE JOB

Reporting to the Assistant Administration & Board Manager (AABM), the Administrative Assistant will be responsible for the following duties:


To provide assistance to AABM in the day-to-day operations of the administration section;

To handle car booking and messengerial service;

To supervise the performance of messengers and drivers;

To assist AABM to handle the following duties: i) To purchase, repair and maintenance of the office furniture and equipment; ii) To relocate the office furniture and equipment; iii) To administer the furniture store; iv) To arrange the installation of telephone lines, repair and maintenance of the PABX, IDD call accounting and voice mail system and record keeping.

To prepare the monthly reports such as consumption reports for photocopiers, IDD calls and tunnel expenses.

THE REQUIREMENTS

Must obtain 5 passes in HKCEE including English (Syllabus B) (or Level 2 if results are obtained from 2007 onwards), Chinese (or Level 2 if results are obtained from 2007 onwards), and Mathematics;

A minimum of 2 years’ experience in clerical or administration work. Experience in office renovation and relocation will be a definite advantage;

Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese. Ability to speak Putonghua is a definite advantage;

Proficient in MS-Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing; and

Able to work under pressure.
