To further strengthen our sales team responsible for the Asia Pacific Region.
The responsibility of this position involves business development and customer support for products of the AUMUND Group, mainly in the cement, power, mining and metallurgical industries, as well as ports and terminals. The ideal candidate should be familiar with one or more of these industries and have the technical background to quickly understand, anticipate and react to customers' needs and requirements, in the marketing of new capital equipment and/or conversions / retrofits of existing installations.
The position involves extensive travelling and requires a high level of interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate at all levels of a customer organisation. The responsibilities also include cost calculations, preparing sales quotations as well as project negotiations. Excellent negotiation skills are therefore essential together with good commercial awareness.
Applicants for this position should have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent educational qualifications and practical experience in selling engineered products, ideally mechanical conveying technology. Excellent spoken and written English as well as proficiency in using Microsoft Office software are required.
