Applicants should have a bachelor's degree or above in Statistics, Mathematics or related disciplines. Knowledge in S-Plus or R programming is a must and preference will be given to those with experience in academic research. The appointee will initially be offered a fixed-term contract of 1 year, commencing mid November 2003 or as soon as possible thereafter. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
