PRGRAMME ASSISTANT (EXCEL)
THE HONG KOGN ACADEMY FOR PERFORMING ARTS

The Programme Assistant is responsible to the Coordinator (EXCEL) for providing administrative and clerical support to the Extension and Continuing Education for Life Courses Unit. He/She is also required to assist in the coordination and development of the extra-mural courses.

The successful candidates will be expected to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends according to a roster totalling 156 hours in a 4-week cycle.

Applicants should have:
(a) a Diploma, preferably a recognised degree
(b) at least one to two years' relevant experience, preferably in an education or arts sector
(c) a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Proficiency in Putognhua will be an asset
(d) good customer service and interpersonal skills
(e) good knowledge of MS Office and Chinese word processing
(f) knowledge of graphic software is an asset

TERMS OF APPOINTMENT
Appointment will be on a one-year fixed-term contract, with a possibility of further extension of service at the end of the contract. Salary offered will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
