Hospitality Industry Training and Development Centre & Chinese Cuisine Training Institute (HITDC&CCTI)

The HITDC&CCTI is looking for a resourceful, self-driven and well-organized individual with excellent communication skills, preferably with a solid background in hotel and catering marketing and public media management or related disciplines.

Duties:
(i) In-charge of the publicity and promotional matters of the Centre/Institute; (ii) Planning, development and implementation of the Centre/Institute's publicity strategy and promtional events; and (iii) Liaison and maintenance of rapport with the hospitality and catering industry and related sectors, schools, trade associations etc, both locally, regionally and overseas.

Requirement:
(a) Possess a recognized diploma in Communication Studies or Hotel and Catering Management; or a related discipline or equivalent; (b) At least 12 years' experience in PR and/or related industry of which 6 years should be after obtaining the relevant qualifications. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in event management and knowledge in the areas of Chinese cuisine and culinary culture; (c) Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese, preferably in Putonghua; (d) Proven administrative ability and supervisory experience; and (e) Proficiency in common office computer software.

Conditions:
Appointments will be made on a fixed-term contract.
