People Development Specialist (Ref: PD)

We are looking for a training/learning/HR development practitioner who has the skills and experience to source, develop and drive high-impact people-development initiatives to a global learner base in collaboration with counterparts in North America and Europe. You will have focused accountabilities for offices in Asia Pacific.

Key accountabilities are to review, refine, develop and implement policy, standards, systems, process, media and tools in learning and people development; assist in integrating people-development initiatives and framework into the HR Management arena; and contribute to turning the company into a learning organization by promoting a learning and knowledge-sharing culture.

It is important that you adopt a 'hands-on' approach on sourcing, designing, deploying and assessing learning initiatives, with a key mandate to management and leadership solutions. It will be essential to keep abreast of new learning concepts and learning methodologies/ technologies, with e-Learning as a preferred learning option.

Requirements:
- University graduate: you should possess a minimum of 5 years' work experience in a sizeable organization where English is used as a language at work. Experience working for an MNC is preferred though not mandatory. A track record in training or HR development would be valued, but equally, without related work experience, the propensity to excel in training/HR development backed up by demonstrable people/business and language skills world also be valued.
- You should be creative and rsourceful, with an eye for detail and an open mind to embrace change and innovation. You should enjoy hands-on work and be self-sufficient in assignments. Excellent communication skills and having bilingual English and Chinese language ability are necessary. Sensitivity to the working habits of other cultures is a plus.
