Maunsell Consultants Asia Ltd. is KCRC's Consultant for the Ma On Shan Rail of the East Rail Extension from Tai Wa to Wu Kai Sha. The MOS Rail is a 11.4 km double-tracked electrified passenger railway serving the Ma On Shan area. It will be on viaduct for most of its length, with stations locaed at Tai Wai, Che Keung Temple, Sha Tin Wai, City One, Shek Mun, Tai Shui Hang, Heng On, Ma On Shan and Wu Kai Sha. Between Shek Mun and Tai Shui Hang, the railway will run at ground level along the median of the Tate's Caim Highway.
Maunsell is now inviting applications for the following Senior Resident Site Staff to join the contractual team for this challenging project.
We are looking for senior staff for Claims Analysis and Resolution. Experienced Construction Professionals are needed to assess a number of cliams for time and cost on a major railway project.
Candidates should have:
- Corporate membership of The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (Quantity Surveying Division) or equivalent
- At least 10 years relevant post-qualification experience is required for the post of Senior Quantity Surveyors
The successful applicants will have an ability to balance technical expertise in measurement, evaluation, construction methodology and programme analysis, and be able to think unconventionally in order to fairly assess claims within the limitatins of a set of contract documents whilst recognising wider issues and overall project objectives and influences.
Experience of multi-disciplinary projects, urban construction, railway works and pre-cast segmental viaduct construction will be advantageous.
