The Digital Media Centre (DMC) at CYberport is being established to provide multi-media production facilities and services for used by Cyberport tenants, the relevant digital production industries and the community at large to support their production work and to provide necessary hardware, software and technical support which will help faciliate the development of the digital media industry in Hong Kong. The DMC provides video production and post production, audio recording facilities, and a Multimedia Laboratory comprising motion capture, 3D scanning and render farm capabilities.
The Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited, a private company wholly owned by the Financial Secretary Incorporated of the Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region to operate and manage the Cyberport, is now inviting high calibre individuals to join the management and operation team of the DMC.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and optimize advanced HA servers
- Work with clients on projects
- Develop custom applications for server management
Requirements:
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Engineering or equivalent
- Knowledge of 3D animation software and network/web technologies
- Minimum 3 years of experience in writing network programs and 3D graphics software
- Knowledge of distributed computing, networking and statistics an advantage
- Experience in Windows and Linux (open source) development environment
- Working overtime or shifts may be required depending on projects
We offer competitive remuneration package to the right candidates. Appointment is on contract basis for an initial period of two years.
