Jobs - Dot-com Email A Friend IT Technician (Ref: DMC-ITT/03) CYBERPORT 數碼港 The Digital Media Centre (DMC) at CYberport is being established to provide multi-media production facilities and services for used by Cyberport tenants, the relevant digital production industries and the community at large to support their production work and to provide necessary hardware, software and technical support which will help faciliate the development of the digital media industry in Hong Kong. The DMC provides video production and post production, audio recording facilities, and a Multimedia Laboratory comprising motion capture, 3D scanning and render farm capabilities. The Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited, a private company wholly owned by the Financial Secretary Incorporated of the Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region to operate and manage the Cyberport, is now inviting high calibre individuals to join the management and operation team of the DMC. Responsibilities: - Maintenance of computers and network equipment - Customer support and administration - Routine back-up and simple repair Requirements: - University or Higher Diploma in IT related discipline - Minimum 1 year of experience in IT support/admin - Knowledge of PC hardware/ software and networking - Experience in technical support and administration - Experience in Windows/ Linux environment - Working in shifts or overtime - Programming experience will be an advantage We offer competitive remuneration package to the right candidates. Appointment is on contract basis for an initial period of two years.
