HSBC's Wealth Management Services is expanding rapidly and their Unit Trust division is one of the key businesses in growing customer value and driving non-fund income. We are looking for an investment professional to develop and implement the product strategy for unit trust distribution to generate income under a highly competitive environment.
Reporting to Senior Unit Trust Manager, your challenge is to think through the strategic direction, product engineering, technical aspect, SFC regulatory requirements and customer preference in order to translate high-level business strategies into product and legitimate product launches. This will involve managing the performance and profitability of various products by initiating development, monitoring implementation and reporting results. Working closely with internal and external parties to ensure that launches are in compliance with regulatory requirements, you will keep track of market trends, customer needs, competitor information and regulatory changes as well as providing your investment expertise to build on potential opportunities. Your responsibilities wil also include leading a team of executives in project implementation and preparing product proposals.
With a minimum of eight years' relevant working experience including five years in the fund industry, you must have strong technical knowledge of investment/unit trust products and compliance requirements. Relevant professional qualification is preferred. A strong project manager, you should have proven track record in delivering results and demonstrate a general understanding of all aspects of marketing. In addition, sound management, planning and implementation, excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
