CALLISTO, a German multinational company developing and exporting consumer products with offices in Europe, Asia and the USA, is looking for a high caliber candidate for following position:
- Reporting to the Managing Director, the incumbent is responsible to develop competent sourcing network (outside PRC) for new & existing products. This includes ability to identify supplying potentials in different countries which can give rise to the business opportunities and vendors management
- Degree/diploma holder. Minimum 10 years sourcing experience with Asian region exposure in metal, plastic and wood related consumer products
- Good knowledge in the products and manufacturing process for the said categories a definite advantage
- Previous working employment in sizable US/European buying / trading office & good knowledge in the US or European retail market preferred
- Good connections with manufacturers in Asia in related industry. Excellent negotiation & communication skills and hands-on style
- Fluent English, Cantonese & Mandarin
- Frequent travels are necessary
