Business Reviews Manager Operations Design & Development Asia-Pacific |
|
As the world's local bank we never underestimate the importance of local knowledge. And that knowledge comes from our people, people from all over the world who come together as the world's local team.
The Operations Design and Development department seeks to drive best practice across HSBC's regional banking operations, assist in centralising local operations and migrate them to Global Processing Centres, and perform process re-engineering reviews. As a Business Reviews Manager in this team, you will manage operations review projects in Hong Kong and the Asia-Pacific Region.
Leading a project team, you will be involved in managing the review process, analysing business processes and making recommendations for improvement, issuing review reports and participating in working groups. Obtaining client buy-in will be key and to achieve this you will need to adopt a relationship management role with clients, supporting the implementation of recommendations and providing value-added inputs into process improvement proposals.
With a university degree and at least five years' relevant industry experience, you must have an understanding of financial services products, channels and operations, as well as proven project management, analytical and decision making skills. A creative problem solver, you must be able to demonstrate hands-on involvement in significant projects involving change management in a financial services and/or consulting firm. A motivated self-starter and team player, effective communicator and influencer, you will ideally have exposure to multi-cultural environments. A Six Sigma qualification is desirable but not essential. If you have an interest in challenging existing processes to meet rapidly changing banking operations, this is an exceptional opportunity.
