Being a member of Li & Fung Retailing Group, one of the major retailing groups in Hong Kong, we provide fast, tidy and friendly service in our conveniently located stores. We are expanding our business in food services for our retail outlets; hence, we are seeking a real professional in food production to join our team.
Reporting to the Division Manager of Marketing, you will be contributing to the overall success of the business by optimizing opportunities in both sales and profitability of the In-store Bakery and food service counter in our retail outlets. This can be achieved by optimizing profit with different product mix whilst maintaining the highest quality of the food products. Another key role is responsible for the training of our frontline staff to equip them with the appropriate competencies. Working closely with various departments such as category management team, operation team and store development team on the implementation of the company food strtegies including new product development, materials sourcing, quality assuring in food production and food licensing etc.
To qualify, you should possess a good academic background with 5-10 years' in food production, quality assurance or food product development. Solid experience in bakery, food regulation and licensing are essential. Exposure in QA/QC and knowledge in Food Science is preferable. Good command of spoken & written English is ideal. Excellent communication skill with diversified groups of people is an important asset, which you should equip. You need to be a proactive team player ot coordinate with various parties but you also need to prepare yourself to work under minimal supervision. Your dynamic personality, retailing sense and customer focus & driven will be assets in your career development.
