TEMPORARY RESEARCH OFFICER (REF: TRO/HAHO/10333) |

The Hospital Authority will collaborate with other health care providers and carers in the community to create a seamless health care system which will maximise health care benefits and meet community expectations. Pay
HK$17,100 per month.
Job
1. Extract data from various information systems or from data warehouse.
2. Assist in the date exploratory work, analyses and modelling for health services reviews or health care research.
3. Assist in tracking the utilisation of services for a particular cohort of patients.
4. Assist in the preparation and presentation of health related and hospital services statistics.
Requirements
1. A degree in Health Sciences, Social Sciences, Computer Studies, Economics or Mathematics with Statistics as one of the subjects taken.
2. Strong understanding of data mining techniques and statistical packages including SAS, SPSS.
3. Preferably with knowledge of public health especially epidemiology and health service research.
4. Use of Microsoft Office applications.
5. Sound presentation and communication skills.
