We are seeking an energetic, bright leader to manage a (5 - 8 person) digital media development team. The team will be charted with designing and testing advanced digital media hardware and software to create and support a multiformat high resolution/high bandwidth data system and network using fibre and hybrid technologies and while adhering to unique secruity ariteria. A firm and clear understanding of software, board and system design methodologies are all required. Additionally, we seek an individual who is excited by the managerial, project management and organizational challenges aspect of advanced engineering design and development. This position will require some travel to work important. This position will require some travel to occasionally meet with end-users and customers and to work important vendor relationships. Experience/knowledge in Windows 2000 and Active Directory Secruity, Unix, Linux, Irix, Microsoft SQL(TvN), VB Script, Network design, support and adin. Strong scripting skills required
A BSEE, MSEE or equivalent relevant work experience combined with 5 years experience in training and manging a design and implementation team through to final product and ongoing support team. The position requires excellent written and verbal communication as well as good inter-company negotiation skills needed.
