THALES Information Systems, is an established leader providing systems and services for the I.T. market mainly in four domains: Utilities (Energy - Transport - Telecommunication), Industry, Finance and Public Sector.
Combining proven expertise in the management of large-scale projects and the provision of professional services. THALES Information Systems supports its clients through every stage of their requirements, focusing on three main areas:
- Consultancy
- System Integration for Technical Systems (such as SCADA) as well as Management Information Systems
- Outsourcing (Maintenance and operation)
To reinforce its rapid growth in Hong Kong. THALES Information Systems Hong Kong Branch invites applicants for the position of Business Development Manager.
The Business Development Manager will have to develop the business of THALES Information Systems in Hong Kong and Mainland China, particularly in the domains of Public Sector and Utilities Sectors and thus will have to:
- Identify opportunities, formulate & execute sales strategies, develop sales plans & actions to capitalize on these business opportunities
- Established the necessary contacts at the right level
- Qualify projects and organize bid/no-bid reviews
- Organize the answers to tenders
Applicants should have:
1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in sales and/or project management with proven track records, preferably in the field of computering systems
2. Excellent command of spoken and written English & Chinese (Both Mandarin and Cantonese), ideally French
3. Energetic, dynamic, well-organized, high initiative and result-oriented with excellent communication skills
4. Degree holder in Computer Sciences / MBA or equivalent
5. Preferably excellent introductions at the Hong Kong Government
