| REGIONAL DISTRIBUTION MANAGER ASIA PACIFIC |
|
We are looking for an experienced manager to develop Nike's strategic and operational distribution & network capacity plans in the Asia Pacific region. In addition, we expect the person to be responsible for following duties:
- Design and develop a dynamic, yet flexible logistics infrastructure
- Drive improvement through performance metrics and evaluation
- Develop and drive effective and efficient warehousing and distibution processes and procedures
- Manage and coordinate distribution projects
- Drive organization development of a world-class distribution team
The ideal candidate should:
- Have at least 5-7 years management experience in Logistics field, particularly in the area of physical Product Delivery, and Distribution Center design and management
- Have experience in sourcing and negotiating with Third-Party Logistics providers
- Have experience with warehouse layout and design and material handling and product flow prcesses
- Be a bachelor degree graduate in Logistics or Business Management
- Have strong multi-cultural communication skills
- Be willing to travel extensively
- Possess strong English (spoken and written) skills and one or more major Asian languages preferred
- Have knowledge in WMS systems, reporting tools (e.g. Brio) and experience with MS Office software package is needed
