Kadoorie Farm & Botanic Garden Corporation (KFBGC) is a registered charity dedicated to promoting the awareness of our relationship with the environment through conservation and education. We are looking for a Manager - Facilities who will be overseeing the renovation maintenance, secruity and safety of a 148-hectare hillside compound that includes over 30 small buildings, over 9 km of roads, a large nature reserve, agricultural terraces, natural and man made slopes and an internal water storage and distribution system. The successful candidate will also be responsible to coordinate various construction projects and to facilitate the Occupational Safety and Health and the Sustainability Programs.
Requirements:
- Commitment to the mission and values of KFBGC
- Degree in one or more of the following civil engineering, structural engineering, architecture, construction management and building survey
- Professional qualification in one or more of the following: HKIE, HKIA, CIOB, HKIS or equivalent
- At least 3 years' post-professional qualification experience, preferably in construction management and has demonstrated ability to control facility budgets
- Good technical knowledge on building standards and specifications
- Knowledge of sustainable designs and building principles as well as technologies
- Able to take initiative and work independently
- Proven organizational, negotiation and time management skills
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Cantonese as well as proficient in MS Windows (Words & Excel)
- Valid type II driving license is preferred
