Kodak (Hong Kong) Limited is a subsidiary of Eastman Kodak Company in Rochester, New York, U.S.A. Kodak is the world leader in imaging business from photographic to commercial to digital imaging.
We are looking for high calibre Sourcing Manager for our International Purchasing Office located in Hong Kong. Our immediate opening requires procurement talents specialising in either (1) low-volume high-mix PCBA or (2) mechanical assembly and plastic toolings.
Responsibilities:
- Implementing World-wide & Regional Sourcing strategies at local sites by utilising world class purchasing processes to manage the sourcing for products & services in Asia
- Managing or directing the management of Kodak's relationships with suppliers in Asia with focus on productivity; product & service quality; delivery & cycle time; & total delivered cost
- Working with the client to provide up-to-date and complete specifications for products/services to be purchased. Issue a clear request for quotations. Analyse bids and select suppliers in co-operation with the client
- Participating in the client's key management meetings and providing client with inputs on cost, supply, and other business issues early enough to effectively influence sourcing decisions
Requirements:
- University graduate & with strong technical background in Science/Engineering disciplines with at least 5 years managerial/project management experiences in sourcing low-volume high-mix PCBA or mechanical assembly and plastic toolings
- Ability of managing a business portfolio, formally develop and negotiate contracts
- Ability to formulate, implement the sourcing strategy with the business unit for the Corporation and communicate effectively at all levels (including Senior Management at Kodak and Suppliers) on issues and plans
- Understand material supply chain, basic quality concept and capable to implement commodity strategy plan and benchmarking activities
- PC skills, fluent in English and Putonghua (spoken & written). Fair understanding of Japanese is desirable
