Walt Disney Imagineering is the master planning, creative development, design, engineering, production, project management, and research and development arm of The Walt Disney Company. Its talented corps of Imagineers is responsible for the creation - from concept initiation through installation - of all Disney Resorts, theme parks and attractions, real estate developments, regional entertainment venues, and new media projects. Walt Disney Imagineering Hong Kong, the team responsible for the design, development and construction of the Hong Kong Disneyland project, is now seeking high caliber individuals to fill the following positions for our Hong Kong Disneyland project.
Responsibilities
- Report to the Manager, Safety & Security
- Monitor the project safety program and ensure that contractors, vendors and internal staff working on site are aware of its requirements, promote safety in their operations and maintain safety and health standards at their work site by providing training within their areas of expertise
- Conduct regular field inspections of the contractors and monitor the safety and health conditions of their operations, evaluate any observed exposure to loss including potential property damage or threats to the project due to natural perits, maintain safety and accident statistics, provide regular reports of safety inspections
- Conduct Risk Assessments, Job Safety Analysis, Fit for Service Analysis and analysis of the contractor safety plans, submissions and risk assessments
- Assist in implementing the emergency response plans
Requirements
- Degree in Construction Safety or equivalent
- Registered Safety Officer (RSO) & Registered Safety Auditor (RSA) with T3/T4 qualifications
- Minimum 8 years working experience in safety and risk management with large scale local construction projects
- Fluent in both English and Chinese
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Hands-on MS Office applications required
