HSBC has become the top five credit card issuers in most of our issuing countries. In order to maintain our success, we are looking for an operations professional to institute card business best practice in the Asia-Pacific region.

Supporting the Regional Card Operations team, you will gather user requirements from the various card centres in the region, then develop and implement the regional card processing infrantructure covering both the system and opertional aspects. To improve the efficiency and effectiveness of card centre operations, you will recommend process improvement initiatives, provide processing guidelines, offer training to local and regional staff and implement regional standards and best practices. You will also enhance the overall customer service function by reinforcing service measures, developing and implementing service improvement programmes and coordinating the regional customer surveys. In addition, you will implement the Regional Processing Strategy by supporting the establishment of core operational capabilities in the centralised processing centres in the region and facilitating local process improvement initiatives in different sites.

You should possess 3-5 years' experience in process reengineering projects, preferably in card operations. The ability to communicate with people from different backgrounds and cultures effectively is essential. You must have good analytical and problem solving skills, the ability to work inependently and willingness to travel.
