Walt Disney Imagineering is the master planning, creative development, design, engineering, production, project management, and research and development arm of The Walt Disney Company. Its talented corps of Imagineers is responsible for te creation - from concept initiation through installation - of all Disney Resorts, theme parks and attractions, real estate developments, regional entertainment venues, and new media projects. Walt Disney Imagineering Hong Kong, the team responsible for the design, development and construction of the Hong Kong Disneyland project, is now seeking high caliber individuals to fill the following positions for our Hong Kong Disneyland project.
Responsibilities
- Reports to the Director of Construction Management
- Manages construction efforts for our Theme Park division
- Responsible for both strategic and technical development of the project
- Performs constructability analysis and value engineering recommendations
- Act as direct point of contact to all construction vendors and contractors for the Theme Park division
- Monitors construction, schedule, quality control and safety
- Manages & records contractor's percentage completion of work on approved schedule of values
- Manages the construction team and to create a harmonious and good working environment
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent
- 10 years+ relevant experience in the construction industry
- Experience on large scale projects in a managerial capacity, preferably in involved in projects involving high quality finishes and a high degree of mechanical and electrical systems interface
- Proven experience in managing the construction development process and documentation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in both English and Cantonese
