HSBC's growing Custody and Clearing business provides world class, award-winning services in 32 securities markets in the Asia-Pacific, Middle East, Medierranean and Latin America regions. Our clients include the world's largest global custodians, broker dealers and institutional investros.
We are seeking an experienced securities professional with a good understanding of custody, clearing, find administration, securities leading, cash management, corporate trust and issuer services products. Regional work experience would be an advantage.
This role involves identifying the business requirements of existing and target customers, and meeting these needs by enhancing existing products and designing, developing and rolling out new products across our international network.
Reporting to the Senior Business Development Manager, you will take full ownership of projects and deliver high quality work within deadlines. You will monitor and participate in securities industry initiatives, undertake research and feasibility studies, develop products from concept stage to implementation, devise product marketing strategies, and provide product-related guidance to staff and clients. This will involve working closely with our international network of Custody and Clearing units, other HSBC business units, clients and various external parties.
You must have a university degree in finance or marketing and a minimum of five years' experience in banking or financial services, including two years' experience in product development, ideally in a secruities-related business. You should be able to demonstrate a high level of creativity as well as strong analytical, planning and team working skills. Excellent written and spoken English and MS Office skills are a must.
