Recreation Manager (Ref: RecM)
Our Catering Department manages one of the largest and most diverse catering operations in Hong Kong. We provide a wide range of catering, sports and recretion facilities for Members and their guests in three Clubhouses. In addition, both Happy Valley and Sha Tin Raceourses have numerous catering facilities used by Members, non-members and corporate organisations for a variety of functions.

As Recreation Manager of the Happy Valley Clubhouse, you will lead a team of recreation staff to plan and implement recreation and sports programmes / services according to current trends and Members' interests in order to maximise utilisation of all facilities and monitors the level of custom so as to gauge propularity and profitability of services. You will also oversee the operations of the Members shop and the Gym. You should have:

- Formal education in Recreation and Leisure Management
- Five years working experience at managerial level in the sports and leisure field preferably with experience in sports contract management
- Overseas experience with leading five star resort hotel/ club would definitely be an advantage
- Good awareness and anticipation of market trend
- Sound knowledge of facility and recreation management
- Good leadership, excellent interpersonal skills with strong initiatives to interact with customers
- Good communication skills in both spoken and written English and Chinese

An initial 2-year contract employment will be offered to the successful candidate with an option for renewal subject to mutual agreement between the Club and the individual.
