Our client is a leading retailer and distributor of lifestyle consumer products with a well-established business presence in the region. Significant business growth has created the need for the management to appoint a highly motivated and competent financial executive for their China operations.
Based in Shanghai and reporting to the Director, you will oversee the complete finance and accounting function. This includes leading a team of staff in the preparation of the financial and management reports, compilation of budgets and forecasts, financial evaluations, inventory and credit management, accounts consolidation as well as taxation. You will also provide commercial support to the business managers to facilitate business growth, enhance the internal control and ensure the compliance with all statutory requirements and accounting standards of the Group.
A University graduate, you should be a qualified accountant with 8-10 years' accounting experience in the retail/ distribution/ trading sector, gained mainly in PRC market. In addition to proven people management skills, the role requires a self-starter who is independent and business-mided. Fluency in English and Mandarin is a pre-requisite.
