Australian Experience Essential US Multinational Outstanding Career Development
Our client is a NYSE-listed multinational which develops, manufactures and markets medical products for the global market.
Based in Hong Kong, this new position which reports to the CFO has been created to further strengthen the regional finance function. It covers Asia-Pacific region, which includes Australia the company's largest market. In addition, you will also focus on South Asia where you will work in a business partnership role with the MD.
You will manage a team of finance professionals and be responsible for all accounting and financial matters across the region including:
- Statutory reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, inventory management and taxation
- Driving improved financial / operating efficiencies and profitability
- Provision of financial advice to senior management on business issues and strategic initiatives
- Identifying profit improvement and revenue generating opportunities in the region
To qualify, you will possess the following:
- Qualified accountant, ideally Big 4 trained with a further 6-8 years' multinational company experience
- Australian market exposure is essential
- Strong inventory management, business acumen and leadership qualities are mandatory
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate to the highest levels in English
