The role of the successful candidate will be to provide expert technical support to customers and collegues. The key to success will be the ability to develop expert knowledge of Reuters Solutions and to provide professional services.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical pre-sales support function on all Reuters solutions
- Quality new software and module release and pro-actively manage software upgrade
- Participate in the software development and provide customized solution to customers
- Responsible for managing the daily operations of solution support, improving efficiency and quality of services
Qualifications and Requirements
- Degree in Information Technology or related discipline
- Good knowledge in financial market
- 3-5 years' of experience in supporting trading room and settlement system (at least 2 years of supervisory or managerial experience)
- Experience in Sybase, Oracle, Unix and Window (priority will be given to those who have hand-on experience on SQL reporting and programming language such as C/C++)
- Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin & Cantonese)
- Good negotiation, problem solving, communication and presentation skills
- Mature, patient and able to work independently
