The Matilda Child Development Centre is a non-profit charitable organization. It is totally independent of the Matilda International Hopsital. The Centre provides early year's education and therapy in English for young children with special educational needs. It is sub-vented by the Social Welfare Department of the SAR Government of Hong Kong for its Early Education Training Centre (EETC) services
Recognized as a leader in the field, the Centre provides a wide range of programmes including integrated pre-school and toddler groups, assessment and psychological services, counseling and individual therapy for young children with learning difficulties. These services extend to the families of the children. Required:
To work in integrated pre-school and toddler programmes. Must hold relevant qualifications in early years, primary or special education. The successful candidate will run the playroom, over see the work of welfare workers and the programme assistant, be involved in individual developmental assessments and implementation of individual and group programmes as part of the multidisciplinary team. Two years experience and knowledge of PECS & Makaton an advantage. Fluent English/visa to work in H.K. essential. (Salary scale MPS 25-34 depending on experience).
