Reporting to the General Manager, Central Asia Hub, you will be a key member of the management team. Your core responsibilities include the direction of a full range of financial and accounting duties, handling the reporting,taxation, and budgeting, forecasting and general administrative staff support to operations.
The jobholder will drive the transition program to prepare for moving into the new facility in 2004. That will demand the person to work closely with the project team and external service providers.
You will also need to drive initiatives to improve resources utilisation.
Qualifications
- Degree in Finance or Accounting
- Professional qualification of CIMA, ACCA or HKSA (Professional Accounting Body)
- 8 years' multi-national company experience preferably with 2 years from auditing
- Strong experience in cost accounting is an advantage
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
- Experience in computerized accounting system, budgeting, cash management, auditing and forecasting, taxation and financial analysis
- Strong leadership skills with good analytical skills
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines and
- Willingness to work extended hours
