Strong People Management Experience
Rapidly Expanding Business
Our client is a rapidly expanding local conglomerate with a diverse range of business interests in China including transportation, freight forwarding, engineering and real estate. Continued success in the region has given rise to this newly created position within the Finance function.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer based in Qingdao, you will be responsible for managing team of 65 local accounting staff located within the group's respresentative offices, subsidiaries and joint ventures. This is a key position, which oversees the overall accounting and finance operations across several provinces in the PRC. You will also be required to take a proactive approach to training and developing the local team to align their competencies to international standards.
To succeed in this position, you should possess the following:
- Bachelor degree holder, ACCA / HKSA / CPA qualified
- 6 to 10 years of experience gained within accounting adn finance, with a proven track record in working with PRC markets
- Strong people management experience and the ability to communicate with and supervise PRC staff
- Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential, as is the ability to read and comprehend financial reports written in Chinese
