The Department of Social Sciences of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities is an expanding teaching unit which has the objective of becoming a leading academic center for social sciences, with an international reputation for research and teaching at all levels.

Applicants from suitably qualified candidates are rrow invited for newly opened positions of Assistant Professor in the following programs, tenable from September 2003. Applications are accepted until the positions are filled.

ECONOMICS
Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree demonstrate research potential. Those who can teach up to postgraduate level will be advantageous. Fields of specialization are open although preference will be given to those who can teach two or more of the following courses: labor economics, industrial economics, welfare economics, money and banking, public finance comparative economics, history of economic thought, economies of Asia-Pacific Region, and the Chinese economy.
