A leading listed company with diversified interests in Hong Kong invites applications for the following vacancy:
Responisbilities:
- To conduct regular strategic business and financial management review of different business units, identify risks and opportunities and recommend appropriate actions
- To facilitate business planning process and budgetary control systems in various business units
- To lead and partiipate in various corporate actions
- to provide financial and business analytical support related to capital projects, and merger and acquisition opportunities in a thorought, timely and accurate manner
- To assist in resolving business and commercial issues of the existing and potential Js through close interaction with prospective partners, consultants, tax and legal counsels, adn in-house marketing and engineering personnel
- To travel to PRC if necessary
Requirements:
- Degree holder in business or finance discipline
- Qualified accountant, CFA
- Minimum 10 years' experience in financial management with at least 5 years in management position preferably in sizable organization
- Strong business acumen, analytical and creative
- Fluency in spoken & written English and Chinese, preferably Mandarin
- Ability to deploy IT as a management tool and competitive advantage
- Application on spreadsheet software e.g. Excel or Lotus 123
- Experience in shipping companies, logistics and/or port terminal management preferred
