Compliance Executive
Excellent compliance opportunity in a growing functional area
HSBC's Compliance Team plays a paramount role in assisting management in meeting the Group Compliance Policy Statement and to maintain controls of the highest level. with the new Securities and Futures Ordinance coming into effect shortly and the business operating in the context of an increasingly complex regulatory regime, Compliance is now looking for an executive to join the team in this growing area. Development opportunities, on the job training and exposure in both commercial and investment banking will be provided to the right candidate.
As a Compliance Executive, you will handle enquiries on compliance matters and assist in drafting compliance procedures and guidelines for both the commercial and investment banking businesses. By keeping abreast of changing legal conditions and regulatory developments, you will strive to provide a constructive approach and pro-active support to our business initiatives.
A university graduate preferably with a law degree, you must have excellent analytical, interpersonal and verbal communication skills along with good written English. Previous experience in compliance, audit, risk management, controls or external regulations is advantageous. Above all, you should be energeitc and motivated to learn with a positive teamwork attitude.
