Modern Terminals
We are an international leader in container terminal services with focus on Hong Kong and Mainland China. Applications are now invited to join the management team for the above position.
The Role
Reporting to Chief Financial Officer, the job holder will be accountable for providing drafting, advisory and co-ordination services in legal matters to ensure that legal and contractual matters are properly dealt with in commercial, joint venture and other corporate deals in Hong Kong as well as PRC. He/She will also assist in performing company secretarial duties for the Company and its subsidiaries and associated companines. He/She will liaise with external legal advisers and government bodies on various regulatory requirements.
The Person
The ideal candidate should have/be:
- Bachelor degree in Law / Holder of Postgradate Certificate in Laws (PCLL) or other relevant professional qualifications
- A qualified solicitor, preferably an Associate Member of HKICSA
- Professional training in company secretary and administration a definite advantage
- Not less than 5 years commercial law
- Experience in PRC related commercial law
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Proactive, self-motivated, able to work independently and under pressure
