Cards& Consumer Assets Training Manager

Our regional card business, which employs some 3,000 plus staff, continues to grow rapidly. This role plays a key part in the training and development support of these staff, so critical in driving core business initiatives and staff performance enhancements.

You will design, develop and deliver training in the areas of cards and consumer credit risk management, as well as card related systems. in general you will manage resources, staff development and succession planning, analyse and review training needs then evaluate course feedback, training quality and consistency, to ensure that staff training needs are met. This is a regional responsibility that will entail some travel.

The position represents an ideal career move for a professional with a tertiary level education followed by at least eight years in card operations, branch banking or consumer credit, including at least six years' experience managing a credit risk unit in the cards or personal financial services business. Knowledge of relevant collections / card related systems and softwares will be useful, although you must be computer literate with a basic knowledge of bank system applications. You must also be a good communicator and presenter, with an excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
