Our client, a US multinational manufacturer and pioneer in their field, boasts a fascinating history of innovation and enterpreneurship. An internal promotion has created a rare opportunity for a dynamic executive to further drive the growth of the business in Asia Pacific.
Reporting to the Regional Vice President in Hong Kong and functionally to the US, you will provide leadership and management to the finance team and adopt full responsibility for all accounting processes, financial results, forecasts, budgets and plans. In addition to driving productivity, you will deliver innovative and strategic initiatives to meet corporate philosohies and financial objectives. You will also focus on developing the mutli-faceted China operations, and further relationships with governmental bodies and third party professionals.
Suitable candidates will be an MBA graduate and professionally qualified ACA/CPA and possess 12-15 years' regional experience froma ultinational corporation. Hands-on experience of the PRC market together with in-depth knowledge of US and PRC GAAP, local tax and treasury issues will be essential. Furthermore, leadership, negotiation and presentation skills are imperative for cross-functinal liaison across cultural boundaries. Problem-solving ability and a commercial mindset together with a high level of integrity and diplomacy is critical to the success of this role. Fluent English and Mandarin and the flexibility to travel is also a pre-requisite.
