THE HONG KONG POLYTECHIC UNIVERSITY
The University invites applications for the following posts:
CENTRE FOR PROFESSIONAL AND BUSINESS ENGLISH
The appointee will be required to coordinate the Centre's teacher education programmes, to teach on both the Language Proficiency Assessment for Teachers of English (LPATE) and the Certificate in Teaching Business English (CTBE), to administer other courses, to liaise with outside bodies and to develop materials and assessment.
Applicants should have (a) a relevant recognised degree; (b) a postgraduate qualification in ELT and substantial teaching experience; (c) familiarity with the Hong Kong system of education; and (d) a strong commitment to the development of English language proficiency of teachers in Hong Kong schools. Experience in providing training for teachers is highly desirable.
Salary and Conditions of Service
Salary offered will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. For attractive remuneration package including leave, medical and dental benefits, and annual gratuity will be offered.
