In-House Legal Counsel
Duties:
- Perform all legal and regulatory duties for the group of companies
- Draft, review, negotiate and administer contracts, legal documents and other agreements
- Assist and advise all departments with legal and compliance issues
- Engage in legal research in connection with legal and compliance issues
- Provide legal advisory services on contractual & legal aspects of corporate business and affairs, transaction support, employment relate issues, corporate governnce, intellectual property matters & ensure compliance with all legal procedures and business regulations
- Identify/ analyze legal risks and provided legal advice in management of those risks
- Participate with the Executive managmenet team in enhancing the corporate objectives and image with strategic planning

Required Qualifications:
- qualified Solicitor with a Business Degree or related field
- Minimum 10 years' PQE preferably gained in an existing General Counsel role or comparable position in a public company, corporate law field in the legal department of multinational companies and a well-recoginzed international law firm
- Knowledge of the Chinese legal system and experience in dealing with the Chinese Administration and Asia regional coverage a plus
