SCHOOL OF CHINESE MEDICINE RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT DIVISION
The appointee is expected to assist in the routine analysis and testing of Chinese materia medica, Chinese medicinal products and to participate in research projects.
Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in Natural Science, preferably in Chemistry or Biochemistry, together with at least three years of working experience in chemical research or testing laboratory. This includes competency in laboratory work and hands-on experience in the operation and maintenance of modern analytical instruments such as GC/ECD, GC/MS, LC/MS, TLC and HPLC, etc. Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 quality assurance system and laboratory management is also highly desirable.
Salary: HK$10,000 - $13,000 per month
Terms of Appointment:
The appointee will be offered a fixed-term contract of one year. Benefits include contribution by the University to a retirement benefits scheme, annual leave and medical and dental benefits for the appointee. Re-appointment thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
