We now have an opening on our Internet Support Team for an Internet savvy individual to deliver a high standard of professional, friendly technical support services.
You will provide telephone and e-mail support on Internet browser setup, Internet security and server certificates. This will involve ensuring timely investigation adn resolution of issues, researching the least Internet browser developments, and keeping the serice team up-to-date with the least technical solutions. You will also monitor levels of customer satisfaction, liaise with technical teams where follow up action is required, and act as an internal IT expert to support other customer service staff in LAN application setup.
Ideally, you should have a degree or high diploma in an Information Technology discipline and at least two years direct involvement with the Intenet and technical support. You will need a sound knowledge of various PC operating systems and Intenet browser applications such as Windows NT, Linux, Macintosh, Internet Explorer and Netscape. You will also need fluent spoken and written English and Cantonese, and ideally Putonghua. A strong customer service orientation and problem solving abilities are also important. You should be prepared to work shifts if requires, and at such times you will be compensated with an appropriate shift allowance.
