| CUSTOMER SERVICE OFFICER - DIRECT FINANCIAL SERVICES (12 MONTHS CONTRACT) |

Direct Financial Services, HSBC's customer contact team is looking for a number of Customer Service Officers to join our sales and service teams. Successful candidates will have comprehensive training on the provision of a high quality service for all our cutomers' general banking needs through proactive use of the telephone.
You will handle customers' enquiries and provide information on the Bank's banking accounts and personal financial services, as well as channel delivery. You should be able to turn customers' enquiries into selling opportunities. You will also handle inbound telephone responses from mail and advertisement.
You should have completed Form Seven education and have one to two years' sales and service experience, ideally in the telephone service field and preferably with knowledge of banking services and products. You have to be an excellent communicator, be sales and services oriented, and with good problem solving skills. Individuals who possess investment and/or insurance licenses would be a definite advantage. You must be prepared to work shifts if required, and will be compensated with an appropriated shift allowance.
