Australia Based, Asian Focus
CHAMBERS & COMPANY is offering a unique opportunity to highly talented lawyers who wish to be based in Australia and work internationally.
Chambers & Company has expertise in mining, oil and gas projects, capital markets, and corporate and business law. The firm has more than 20 years of project expertise in the People's Republic of China. Chambers & Company is the Australian affiliate of Chadbourne & Parke LLP, a New York-based law firm with additiional offices in Beijing, London, Moscow, Houston, Los Angeles and Washington.
We are looking for exceptional people to be involved in on-going work in our Melbourne office. If interested, you should:-
● be admitted in Australia, Hong Kong, the United Kingdom or the United States;
● have at least five years commercial law experience; and
● be able to demonstrate experience in joint venture transactions, project financing, corporate acquisitions.
Fluency in reading, writing and speaking Mandarin would be an advantage.
The successful candidate must be prepared to travel to Beijing for extended periods (3 to 6 months) after an initial period with the firm's Melbourne office.
