Marketing Communications (Ref: MCOM-MGR-01/02)
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Marketing Communications, the candidate will be responsible for:
- Assisting Management in formulating a mid to long-term e-strategy to achieve the HKTB's corporate objectives
- Supervising web agencies and an in-house production unit responsible for implementing e-marketing initiatives and creating dedicated pages to promote events and new products
- Continuous enhancement, production and updating of the DiscoverHongKong.com website
- Facilitating regional offices to appoint and supervise overseas agencies for the development of various language websites
- Working with regional offices on promoting the website in their markets and identifying strategic partners for e-marketing initiatives
- Producing and enhancing the e-newsletter and magazine
- Web traffic monitoring and analysis
- Supervising a usability study on current websites and implementing modifications
- Appointing and managing external representatives for the sale of advertising space on the DiscoverHongKong.com website
Requirements:
- University graduate or equivalent, preferably in Marketing or Communications
- A minimum of 8 years' experience in Marketing Communications and Internet-related business
- Demonstrated experience in managing web agencies
- Some knowledge of Internet-related hardware and applications
- Excellent personal and managerial skills
- Ability to work independently with strong leadership skills
